Well Read

Armistead Maupin, “The Days of Anna Madrigal” — The latest and last in Maupin’s long-running “Tales of the City” series takes on the woman at the heart of the tales.

Well Read is all about ideas. Through hosted interviews and book reviews, host Terry Tazioli opens up a world of new ideas, exploring with authors the themes in their latest books. Following each hosted interview, Tazioli sits down with Seattle Times Book Editor/National Book Critics Circle Former VP Mary Ann Gwinn to discuss the focus of the show that week, and introduce viewers to related authors and books.

Well Read is a weekly program that airs on TVW Tuesdays at 7 & 10 p.m., with repeats throughout the weekend. The program is produced in conjunction with KBTC public television in Tacoma.  Well Read is distributed by American Public Television to PBS stations around the nation, and can be seen in cities representing approximately 80% of the total U.S. population.
